Description
Pets can play an important role in a child's life. Sadly, pets often get lost or pass away, and dealing with the loss can be confusing and difficult. Koozy is a little boy's pet cat. She provides him company and comfort. One day, Koozy goes missing and the little boy must grapple with her loss. The simple narrative is a great tool to have to discuss the topic of losing a loved one with a child.
Koozy is the recipient of the 2018 Etisalat Prize for Arabic Children's Literature for "Best Production" and the 2019 BIB Award for "Best Illustrations."
