In books, I love "sneaky teachers". Ones that don't preach or overtly teach the child, but the child will walk away having learned something as well as developed love for reading and the language. This definitely falls under that category! It's fun, it rhymes, it is easy to follow, it counts (I didn't realize it was a counting book when I first purchased), and is overall captivating. This is not a wordy book - a line a page at most, which gives you plenty of opportunity to gather information from the pictures. Highly, highly recommend!
